A team of dedicated volunteers and sponsors came together to serve greater than 45 families on November 20th thanks to the leadership of Marvena Thomas Kemp or the Marvin Thomas Foundation, The Central Area Senior Center, BUILD206, Bembry Consulting Services @ Nev’s Place, and more. The Collaborative coordinated activities at two locations on Saturday thanks to additional sponsors and volunteers from Shoreline Dolphins Men’s Basketball Team and Coaches, Alyn Ruth, community organizer, Helena, Jayden, and Lauryn Bembry Phenomenal She, volunteers and youth participants with parents and many more. It’s a true blessing when we come together as a community to assist those less fortunate than ourselves, it is a feeling of deep humility, gratitude, and satisfaction to experience empathy for others, knowing we played a small part in making a big difference
